Atera, NinjaOne, and Accred Connect and Devices compared
Atera and NinjaOne are remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms: agents on Windows, Mac, and Linux, patching, scripting, alerting, and remote access in one product. Accred covers part of that job with two apps. Accred Connect gives technicians remote control, background Shadow sessions, and patent-pending AI-assisted fixes on Windows PCs, with tickets in Accred Consult; it is sold as Consult + Connect at $29.99 per seat per month, $26.99 from seat 11, with agents on unlimited computers. Accred Devices reads each client’s Microsoft Intune tenant for compliance, Autopilot, and update findings at $1.50 per managed device per month, or $1.20 billed annually ($14.40 per managed device per year). Accred does not do patch management or scripted monitoring itself.
How to read this comparison
Accred is not an RMM. If you need patching, monitoring alerts, scripting across Windows, Mac, and Linux, or network discovery, Atera or NinjaOne is the better fit today; Connect and Devices can run beside them. Competitor facts come from each vendor’s public pages and Microsoft Learn, checked on November 5, 2026; prices change, so confirm them with the vendor.

Atera
Atera is RMM and help desk software priced per technician with unlimited endpoints. Every plan includes ticketing, a service portal, IT automations, an AI copilot, and agents for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Professional adds remote monitoring, patch management, and Splashtop remote access with two concurrent sessions; Expert adds unlimited Splashtop sessions and AnyDesk. Atera also offers Robin, which it describes as an autonomous AI agent for IT support.
NinjaOne
NinjaOne describes itself as a unified IT operations platform: endpoint management, patching, and remote management for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It prices per device and does not publish list prices; you request a quote.
Accred Connect and Accred Devices
- Connect: enroll Windows PCs by client and location, see status and inventory, take control with several technicians in one session, and use Shadow, a background workspace where the user isn’t interrupted. Shadow is off until an Owner or Admin approves it per device, and every session is recorded.
- Connect’s patent-pending agentic IT support lets your AI assistant find a person’s PC, work out what is wrong, and fix it. High-risk fixes wait for a technician, the person at the PC is asked first, and every step is logged.
- Devices: connect a client’s Microsoft Intune tenant to see devices, compliance, encryption, stale devices, Autopilot, update rings, and app findings with remediation steps.
The Connect installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows shows an unknown-publisher warning. Both apps have a 30-day free trial with no card.
Which to choose
- Choose Atera for per-technician RMM with ticketing and unlimited endpoints on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
- Choose NinjaOne for per-device endpoint management and patching at scale.
- Choose Accred Connect for remote support and AI-assisted fixes tied to tickets in Accred Consult, and Accred Devices when your clients already manage devices in Intune.
